Youm-e-Ali, commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA), is being observed across Pakistan with great zeal and fervor. Enhanced security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of processions and gatherings held to mark this occasion.
Major processions are scheduled to take place in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and others, with strict security arrangements in place along the routes and at key locations. Thousands of security personnel have been deployed to safeguard citizens and mourners, amidst concerns of potential security threats.

In Karachi, the main procession will begin from Nishtar Park and conclude at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian in Kharadar. Similarly, Lahore’s procession will start from Mubarik Haveli and end at Gamay Shah.
In addition to processions, various other activities such as rallies, seminars, and conferences are being organized, where scholars and Zakirs will enlighten attendees about the life and teachings of Hazrat Ali (RA), the esteemed cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Furthermore, in observance of Youm-e-Ali, the Sindh government has announced the closure of all educational institutions in the province on April 1 (Monday), allowing students and faculty to participate in the solemn commemorations.
