If your mobile handset has been lost/stolen/ snatched, lodge a complaint with PTA to get it blocked via Lost/ Stolen Device System (LSDS) through following methods:

How to Check Status of Phone/IMEI?
The status of blocking/unblocking can be checked after 24 hours through following ways:
- SMS: Type IMEI and SMS to 8484
- Website: https://www.dirbs.pta.gov.pk/
- Android App: Device Verification System (DVS)
If your mobile handset has been recovered and you wish to unblock it, visit PTA CMS weblink or mobile app and provide required information along with Previous Complaint Reference No./Tracking ID given to you earlier at the time of blocking request for processing of unblocking.
PTA’s mandate is only limited to blocking of phone. In order to trace/track stolen phone, local police may be approached.
False reporting is a criminal offence and will be dealt with as per law.
