Crystal Meth Worth Millions Seized at Islamabad Airport in Smuggling Attempt

The Airports Security Force (ASF) thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt at Islamabad International Airport, recovering crystal meth worth over Rs12.5 million.

The suspect, Shoaib Ali, was set to board a flight to Bahrain when ASF personnel uncovered 888 grams of the drug hidden in his trolley bag during routine baggage checks.

The swift action by ASF officials prevented the narcotics from being trafficked abroad.

Shoaib Ali and the seized drugs were handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation and legal proceedings.
