Security Forces Foil Coordinated Attacks, Kill Dozens of Terrorists in Balochistan

Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted a series of coordinated attacks by terrorists across Balochistan overnight, killing dozens of militants in swift operations. Officials said these efforts prevented large-scale civilian casualties.

According to security sources, the banned group Fitna-ul-Hindustan carried out attacks at 12 locations in Balochistan late last night. Security personnel and law enforcement responded quickly, neutralizing all threats and preventing further damage.

The latest operations resulted in the deaths of 58 terrorists, bringing the total number of militants killed in Balochistan over the past 48 hours to 99. Forces continue targeted ground and air operations to eliminate remaining fugitives.

Authorities confirmed that terrorists also attacked civilians in Khuzdar, killing five members of a local labourer family, including a woman and three children. Officials said these acts highlight the indiscriminate brutality of the terrorists.

During the operations, 10 security personnel were martyred while defending civilians and critical sites. Security sources praised their bravery, stating the forces stood “like a lead wall” against hostile elements, preventing greater loss of life.

Sources alleged that Indian media and certain social media platforms openly supported Fitna-ul-Hindustan, exposing links between external actors and terrorists targeting Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the operations and honored the sacrifices of the fallen soldiers. “The entire nation, including me, is proud of our martyrs,” he said, adding that Pakistan remains committed to eliminating terrorism.

Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan praised the armed forces for their bravery, calling the fallen personnel “heroes of the homeland.” Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attacks, stating that 37 terrorists were killed in one key engagement, and saluted the martyrs.
