Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across Pakistan today with great religious spirit and enthusiasm. People gathered early in the morning to offer Eid prayers in mosques, open grounds, and Eidgahs. The day marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Large Eid-ul-Fitr congregations were held in cities and towns nationwide. Religious scholars delivered sermons, highlighting the meaning and values of Eid. They spoke about unity, patience, and helping those in need.

In Islamabad, the main Eid gathering took place at the Faisal Mosque. A large number of people attended the prayer there. Similar scenes were seen in other major cities, including Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta.
Authorities made strict security arrangements to ensure peaceful celebrations. The Islamabad Police introduced a detailed security and traffic plan for the day. Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that maintaining peace is their top priority.
In Punjab, police also implemented a comprehensive security strategy. In Lahore, over 9,000 police officers were deployed at different locations. Their duty was to ensure safety during Eid-ul-Fitr gatherings and manage traffic flow.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police also finalized security and traffic plans. In Peshawar, more than 5,500 personnel were assigned to maintain law and order. Officials worked to keep traffic moving smoothly during the busy hours.
In Quetta, around 200 Eid congregations were organized at various places. These included mosques, parks, Imambargahs, and open grounds. The main Eid prayer was scheduled at Eidgah Toghi Road.
