Ex-ISI Chief Faiz Hameed is Being Probed for Alleged DHA Peshawar Land Scam

Former ISI Chief Lt Gen (retd.) Faiz Hameed has been arrested over allegations of abusing his authority and targeting Top City during his tenure. He faces three additional cases, including charges of selling land in DHA Peshawar at inflated prices, which reportedly caused a Rs720 million loss to the housing authority.

The Pakistani military has begun court-martial proceedings against the three-star general, who stepped down before the change of command.

This disciplinary action follows complaints of land grabbing and corruption related to a project near Islamabad and allegations of abuse of power.

Hameed, once a powerful figure close to former Prime Minister Imran Khan, is the first former ISI chief to face such charges, reflecting the military’s effort to restore internal discipline.
