Twelve ministers of the Gilgit-Baltistan caretaker government took their oath on Tuesday at a ceremony held in the Governor House, Gilgit. The swearing-in marks the official start of the interim administration ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
Due to the absence of the governor, the oath of office was administered by Nazir Ahmed, the speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly. All twelve caretaker ministers took their oaths during the ceremony, pledging to perform their duties responsibly.
