Imran Khan Blames Fascism for Bangladesh’s Current Situation

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s imprisoned former prime minister, has attributed the current chaos in Bangladesh to fascism. Speaking with his lawyers in Adiala Jail, Khan condemned the fascist actions against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members and demanded an end to such practices.

In Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country amid severe violence, leading the Army Chief, Wakar uz Zaman, to announce plans for forming an interim government and negotiating with political parties.

During a meeting with his PTI lawyers, Khan expressed gratitude to supporters and urged them to protest with national flags on August 13. He criticized the handling of the elections and the resulting inflation, linking these issues to the unrest in Bangladesh and calling for an end to fascism towards PTI.
