QUETTA – Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Awaran district, according to the army’s media arm.
A statement from ISPR confirmed the elimination of five militants during the operation conducted in the general Mashkai area. The operation, conducted on the nights of December 30 and 31, led to an intense exchange of fire between the forces and militants.
This confrontation resulted in the elimination of the five terrorists and the discovery of an insurgents’ hideout, along with a significant cache of weapons and explosives. Security forces are actively conducting a sanitization operation to eradicate any remaining militants in the area.
