KP Govt Initiates A Helicopter Safari Service To Enhance Tourism

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the launch of a helicopter safari service for tourists at the Shandur Polo Festival.

According to the Department of Tourism, Culture, Archeology, and Museums of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a memorandum of understanding has been signed with Petronet Aviation to facilitate this initiative.

The department’s statement detailed various tourism and helicopter safari service packages available for visitors attending the Shandur Polo Festival. These packages include several exciting tours:

  1. Chitral Airport to Kailash Valley and Lowari Tunnel.
  2. Chitral Airport to Trich Mir Peak.
  3. Chitral Airport to Trich Mir and Qaqalisht Meadows.
  4. Chitral Airport to Shandur Polo Festival.

The Shandur Polo Festival, known for drawing thousands of both domestic and international tourists, will commence on June 28 in Chitral this year.
