DIPALPUR — On Sunday, a tragic incident occurred in Dipalpur, Okara district, Punjab, where a young girl was brutally murdered by her brother after failing her ninth-grade exams.
The incident took place in Hujra Shah Muqeem, prompting a quick response from local authorities and rescue teams. Despite their efforts, the victim, Sajida, died from her injuries while being transported to the hospital. Her body has been sent to THQ Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police reports reveal that the accused, Adil Hussain, fired six shots at Sajida, disregarding their mother’s attempts to stop him. The mother, who was asleep with her children, was awakened by Adil, who allegedly said, “I’ll teach you a lesson for arguing and failing ninth grade,” before carrying out the murder.
A murder case has been filed against Adil Hussain by the victim’s mother, Sajida Bibi. Adil fled the scene with the weapon, and police are actively searching for him.
