Maryam Nawaz emphasized the significance of homeownership, stating, “There is no greater service than giving someone a home and a roof.” To support this, the government will offer a 15 lakh interest-free loan for 5 marla plots in urban areas and 10 marla plots in rural areas, with no payments required for the first three months.
The scheme’s monthly installment will be 14,000 rupees, designed to ease the financial burden on low-income individuals.
Additionally, Maryam Nawaz announced a substantial relief package for electricity bills, amounting to 45 to 50 billion rupees, and revealed plans for Pakistan’s largest solar program, set to launch next year. This program aims to eliminate electricity bills in the future.
The “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” scheme is a key part of Maryam Nawaz’s efforts to provide relief and enhance living conditions for the people of Punjab.
