A court in Islamabad heard new developments in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf on Wednesday. During the hearing, the court was informed that statements from 22 witnesses have already been recorded.
The case, widely known as the Pakistan Sana Yousaf murder case, is being heard by Muhammad Afzal Majoka, Additional District and Sessions Judge. The hearing took place at the District and Sessions Court Islamabad.
During the session, the judge warned the defence lawyers to proceed with cross-examination. He said the court is giving them a final opportunity to question the witnesses. If the defence does not do so at the next hearing, the court will appoint a state counsel.
The next hearing of the Pakistan Sana Yousaf case has been scheduled for March 12. The judge made it clear that delays in cross-examination will not be accepted.
State prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain Kyani appeared before the court and presented the prosecutionโs position. He informed the judge that statements of 22 witnesses have already been recorded in the case.

The prosecutor also said that the statement of the investigation officer will be recorded later. This will happen after the defence lawyers complete cross-examination of the witnesses.
