Pakistan Will Now Provide Free Visas to All Chinese Nationals

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Chinese Nationals will receive free visas starting after August 14. The announcement was made during a meeting with a 12-member Chinese delegation led by Wang Fukan.

The meeting included Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Mohsin Naqvi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahed Cheema, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, along with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and other senior officials.

The delegation, representing ten Chinese ministries, visited to discuss collaboration following the Prime Minister’s recent trip to China.

Sharif expressed gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang for their support and assured that stringent security measures are in place for Chinese nationals in Pakistan, including actions taken against those responsible for the Bisham incident.

He expressed optimism that the visit would enhance investment opportunities for Pakistan.

Wang Fukan highlighted that technical cooperation will further strengthen the strategic ties between Pakistan and China and thanked Pakistan for its outstanding hospitality.
