Pakistani Govt has authorized the deployment of armed forces nationwide during the holy month of Muharram, according to a notification issued by the Interior Ministry. Under Article 245, the army will assist civil administrations across the country as part of security measures.

Orders have been issued from Pakistani Govt to deploy military personnel in all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, responding to requests from provincial governments.

The objective of this nationwide deployment is to support law enforcement efforts and ensure security in these regions.

During this period, security forces have been granted authority to assume control of areas as required by civil authorities, aiming to maintain order and safety throughout Muharram.
