The prime minister stressed that water resources are vital for protecting communities from droughts, floods, and the effects of climate change. He added that they are essential for conserving biodiversity, safeguarding ecosystems, and ensuring economic stability.
Highlighting shared responsibility, the PM urged individuals and communities to actively participate in water conservation. He said protecting water resources is a duty that guarantees both personal and collective well-being. He encouraged citizens to pledge efforts toward sustainable water management.
The PM reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to international water laws, including the full implementation of the Indus Waters Treaty.
