PM Shehbaz emphasized that a structured approach will be implemented to offer support to vulnerable orphans who struggle with life’s challenges. He shared these intentions while engaging with a delegation comprising the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), and Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA).
Addressing representatives from the media industry, the prime minister expressed his honor in announcing the Toshakhana gifts’ auction to the APNS, CPNE, and PBA delegations.
He also informed them that the current government inherited a challenging economic scenario and the coalition parties didn’t fully grasp the extent of the situation.
Toshakhana, established in 1974, operates under the Cabinet Division and houses valuable presents bestowed upon rulers, parliamentarians, bureaucrats, and officials by foreign heads of state and dignitaries.
It’s worth noting that the chairman of PTI and former prime minister was sentenced to three years in jail and arrested in connection with a criminal case linked to Toshakhana.
