After learning about her daughter-in-law’s tragic demise through news channels, she immediately returned to Karachi from her hometown in Gujarat. Nusrat Sobia mentioned that her elder son, Mohammad Adil, has been battling drug addiction and frequently stays away from home for several days. Ayesha had been married to Adil for two years and used to live with her mother-in-law while working at a beauty salon. Despite her mother-in-law’s request to not pursue legal action, the police have declined to hand over the deceased’s body to her.
