Sources claimed that the Barabri Party Pakistan leader then assaulted meter readers Asghar and Shahid before fleeing with the meter and his wife.
Following the incident, LESCO staffers reported the tampered meter to senior officials, who later visited the site. A complaint has been filed at Nawab Town Police Station against Jawad Ahmed for assaulting LESCO staff and committing electricity theft.
LESCO confirmed that Jawad personally removed the meter, leading to the disconnection of electricity to the premises. They stated that power would be restored once the legal procedures were completed.
