Islamabad Administration Removes Over 250 Illegal Cabins in Major Crackdown

The Islamabad administration has launched a large-scale operation against illegal cabins in the federal capital. The action targets unauthorized structures installed outside residential houses.

Officials confirmed that the drive is part of an ongoing anti-encroachment campaign in Islamabad. The operation aims to clear public spaces and maintain proper urban planning standards.

According to official data, more than 250 illegal cabins were removed during the recent crackdown. The campaign was carried out across multiple residential sectors of Islamabad.

Authorities said nine cabins were removed from Sector F-6. In Sector F-7, a total of 113 cabins were taken down during the operation. The action was conducted in coordination with local enforcement teams.

In other areas of Islamabad, the administration continued similar operations. Twenty-eight cabins were removed from G-6 and G-7 sectors. Another 22 structures were cleared from G-10.

Officials also reported the removal of 28 cabins from G-11. Additionally, 51 cabins were removed from F-10 and F-11 sectors. The operation covered both central and peripheral areas of the city.

The Islamabad administration stated that illegal constructions outside homes create obstruction and violate municipal rules. Authorities said such structures are not permitted under city regulations.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, issued clear instructions to field teams. He directed assistant commissioners to continue operations without discrimination across all sectors of Islamabad.

He emphasized that illegal cabins must be removed to ensure smooth public movement. He also stressed that enforcement action will continue in all identified areas.

Officials said the campaign will remain active in the coming weeks. More inspections are planned in different sectors of Islamabad to identify additional violations.

Residents have been advised to comply with municipal rules. The administration warned that further illegal constructions will also be removed under the ongoing campaign.
