A new weather system has entered Punjab, bringing much-needed rain and strong winds, finally ending the region’s weeks-long dry weather. The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall accompanied by winds in various districts, including Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Sargodha divisions. This shift in weather is expected to provide relief and improve air quality after the extended dry period.
In Lahore and surrounding areas, the skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy, with intermittent sunshine but no significant rainfall forecast. Temperatures in the city will range from a minimum of 19°C to a maximum of 32°C. The arrival of rain will help alleviate the warm conditions that have persisted in recent weeks.

In neighboring areas, Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian are likely to see cloudy weather with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. Leh, however, will experience colder conditions with a mix of rain and snow, and Jammu is expected to have partly cloudy skies.
