Rain in Lahore Brings Relief as Intermittent Showers Continue Across City

Rain in Lahore on Sunday brought much-needed relief from hot and humid weather conditions. Light to moderate showers were recorded in several parts of the city. The weather turned noticeably pleasant after the rainfall.

Areas including Jail Road, Qartaba Chowk, Mall Road, and nearby localities experienced intermittent showers. The Rain in Lahore activity continued in short spells throughout the day. Many citizens welcomed the cooler conditions after rising temperatures in recent days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the current temperature in Lahore was recorded at 33ยฐC. The minimum temperature remained at 27ยฐC. The maximum temperature is expected to reach up to 39ยฐC during the day.

Officials also confirmed that humidity levels increased to 45 percent. Wind speed was recorded at around 6 km/h. These conditions contributed to the unstable weather pattern observed across the city.

Rainfall data showed varying measurements in different areas. Nishtar Town received 11.2 mm of rainfall, which was the highest in the city. Johar Town recorded 3.4 mm, while Gulberg received 0.8 mm. Samanabad recorded 0.4 mm, and Iqbal Town and Saggian received 0.2 mm each.

The Meteorological Department stated that Rain in Lahore is likely to continue in intermittent spells. Light showers are expected over the next 24 to 48 hours. Citizens have been advised to stay updated with weather forecasts.

Experts say the ongoing Rain in Lahore is linked to seasonal weather patterns affecting the region. These conditions often bring short bursts of rain followed by warm temperatures.
