The Emergency Services Department Punjab, Rescue 1122, has announced 484 new job openings in different districts across the province. The recruitment drive offers opportunities for candidates who want to build a career in emergency and rescue services.
According to the official announcement, Rescue 1122 is hiring for three positions. These include Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR), and Rescue Driver (LTV). All appointments will be made on a temporary basis.
Candidates can submit their applications until August 3, 2026. The department has asked interested applicants to apply online through the Central Testing Service (CTS) website.
Rescue 1122 Vacancies
The recruitment includes a total of 484 positions across Punjab. The available vacancies are:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): 108 posts (PPS-3)
- Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR): 175 posts (PPS-3)
- Rescue Driver (LTV): 201 posts (PPS-2)
The vacancies have been distributed among several districts to strengthen emergency response services throughout the province.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) post must hold a Nursing or Paramedical diploma or degree with at least a second division from a recognized board, council, or university. The required age is between 20 and 30 years.
Candidates applying for the Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR) position must have a DAE diploma with at least a second division. Accepted fields include Chemical, Electronics, Mining, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Telecommunication, and Architecture. Applicants must also be between 20 and 30 years old.
For the Rescue Driver (LTV) post, candidates must have passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) with at least a second division. They must also hold a valid LTV driving licence. The age requirement is 20 to 30 years.
District-Wise Recruitment
The Rescue 1122 recruitment covers multiple districts across Punjab. These include Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhelum, Khushab, Lahore, Layyah, Mianwali, Murree, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Pakpattan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, and Toba Tek Singh.
Rawalpindi has received one of the largest shares of vacancies. The district has 37 EMT posts, 6 FDR posts, and 43 Rescue Driver posts. Gujranwala has also received a significant number of vacancies, with 50 positions available across different categories.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must complete the online application through the Central Testing Service (CTS) website before the closing date.
After submitting the online form, applicants are required to print the completed application and send it by post to CTS. Applications received after August 3, 2026, will not be accepted.
The department stated that only complete applications from eligible candidates will be considered. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to appear in written, psychological, and physical tests at designated examination centres.
