Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has accused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of spreading false and divisive narratives during a briefing with foreign media in Peshawar. Tarar condemned Gandapur’s statements as harmful to national unity, labeling them “baseless and provocative.”

Highlighting past controversies, Tarar recalled PTIβs alleged violent actions, including the 2014 PTV attack and the May 9 riots. He accused PTI of fabricating stories, using fake images, and launching social media propaganda against state institutions.
Tarar also criticized Gandapurβs claims about deteriorating governance under the PDM and PTIβs call for civil disobedience, reiterating the government’s resolve to hold May 9 perpetrators accountable.
