A traffic advisory has been issued for Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to a planned protest and a scheduled cricket match. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a public gathering at Tarnol Chowk, which may lead to further road closures, despite the cancellation of the event’s NOC. Containers have already been observed along routes at 26 Number and Taxila, indicating potential traffic disruptions.

Roads will remain open, but temporary blockages due to cricket team movements are expected until September 3rd, 2024. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys carefully to avoid delays and inconveniences.
