This adjustment applies to both passenger transport and goods transportation companies.”

This initiative by the district administration has made travel more affordable for residents.

A passenger remarked, “I frequently travel to Vahari. The fare used to be four hundred rupees, but it has now been reduced by Rs50. However, the fare reduction for AC vehicles hasn’t been as significant.”

Citizens are urging the government to further lower petroleum prices to provide additional relief.
