PML N Leader from NA 59 Raja Qamar ul Islam has stated that his successor will not be from his family but from the supporters. Addressing a rally of locals he said, “these young people are not chanting slogans mechanically. It is their right to come forward too, and they will come forward when we create space for them”.
He said, “One of Nawaz Sharif’s soldiers, my son Salaar Aaj, has become young, but I have already stated before that in NA 59 constituency Pakistan Muslim League-N is a party of ordinary people. I have announced before that there will be no political replacement for sons and nephews. He further added, “Inshallah, my political successor will be among the people sitting in this tent. He will be one of you. I will create my political legacy among you, the people. I am confident that my son will contribute to political and social activities under your guidance, but he will not be my political heir”. You are the owners and political heirs of this land. I started politics of “us” instead of “I”, and I will continue with the same belief, he added.
