Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo reiterated his retirement plans, saying the decision won’t be difficult. Before Portugal’s Nations League match against Croatia in Lisbon, Ronaldo stated, “When the time comes, I’ll move on. It won’t be a tough choice.” He emphasized that if he feels he’s no longer contributing, he’ll be the first to step away, citing former teammate Pepe as an example of leaving gracefully.
Ronaldo also mentioned in a recent interview with NOW that his decision to retire from the national team will be spontaneous and not pre-announced. He expressed his current focus on helping the national team in upcoming matches and his desire to continue playing.
