Samsung Begins Testing One UI 9 for Galaxy A24 Ahead of Official Rollout

Samsung has started internal testing of its upcoming Android 17-based One UI 9 update for the Galaxy A24 4G. The move comes only days after the company released the stable Android 16-based One UI 8.5 update for the device.

The latest development shows that Samsung is already preparing its next major software update. A new test firmware, carrying version A245FXXUCGZF4, has been spotted on the companyโ€™s servers. This strongly suggests that work on One UI 9 is moving forward.

At this stage, Samsung has not confirmed the release date for either the beta or stable version of One UI 9 for the Galaxy A24. However, the early testing indicates that users may see the update in the coming months.

Currently, the One UI 9 beta program is only available for the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup. The company is testing the new software on its premium devices before expanding it to more models.

Reports suggest that Samsung plans to widen the beta program soon. More Galaxy devices are expected to join the testing phase as development progresses.

The Galaxy A24 remains one of Samsungโ€™s popular mid-range smartphones. The companyโ€™s focus on early software testing highlights its efforts to improve the user experience and deliver updates faster.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra may be the first devices to launch with One UI 9 pre-installed.
