Daniel Ek, the owner of Spotify, has stated in a recent interview that the company will not ban content created using artificial intelligence (AI).
Earlier this year, Spotify removed a song that featured AI-cloned voices of the performers Drake and The Weeknd. Ek believes there are valid uses of AI in music but that it should not be used to impersonate human artists without their consent.
