Vivo has quietly listed the Y600k Turbo, a new smartphone variant with powerful specifications.
The new model closely follows the existing Y600 Turbo in terms of hardware. It comes in one memory and storage configuration.
The Vivo Y600k Turbo offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also features a large battery and a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display.
Design and Display
The smartphone features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display. It offers a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels.
The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. It also has a 130Hz touch sampling rate.
The display can show up to 10.7 billion colors. It also supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Vivo claims the display can reach local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. This could provide improved visibility in bright conditions.
The phone is available in three color options. These include Electric Blue, Dune Gold, and Millennial Pink.
The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It uses strengthened glass for additional durability.
According to Vivo, the smartphone has passed eight military-standard environmental tests.
Performance and Software
The Vivo Y600k Turbo is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The processor is based on a 4nm manufacturing process.
The phone includes 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It also offers 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The smartphone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. It also includes several connectivity and convenience features.
These features include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The phone also supports NFC and an IR blaster.
An under-display optical fingerprint scanner provides biometric security. The device also comes with dual speakers.
Camera Setup
The rear camera system includes a 50MP primary camera. It is paired with a 2MP depth sensor.
The main rear camera can record videos at up to 4K resolution. An 8MP camera is placed on the front for selfies.
The front camera supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution.
Battery and Price
The Vivo Y600k Turbo packs a 9,020mAh typical-capacity battery. Its rated battery capacity is 8,820mAh.
The smartphone supports 90W wired fast charging. It does not support wireless charging.
The device can also provide reverse wired charging through its USB-C port. This allows users to charge compatible devices using the phone.
The 12GB/256GB model is priced at around $420. Vivo has not confirmed availability in other international markets.
