Michael Malarkey Calls for Starbucks Boycott, Criticizes Their Coffee

Michael Malarkey, actor from The Vampire Diaries, has called for a boycott of Starbucks after refusing to drink the company’s premium coffee at an event.

This follows boycott calls from pro-Palestinian groups who accuse the coffee chain of supporting Israel amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The controversy ignited after Starbucks Workers United, a union, expressed support for Palestinians in a post on X, which, alongside Starbucks’ legal response, fueled further boycott calls.

During the event, Malarkey publicly declined to drink Starbucks coffee, citing his protest against the brand’s alleged support for Israel. He encouraged others to join in the boycott of Starbucks and other companies linked to Israel.

The boycott gained traction, particularly on social media platforms like TikTok and X, where the hashtag #boycottstarbucks garnered millions of views. Despite the backlash, Starbucks has denied claims of supporting Israel or any military actions in the Middle East.
