Police have apprehended the alleged ringleader of a gang that robbed housewives by reportedly hypnotizing them. During a joint operation by the investigation and operation branches of Malir police, five suspected accomplices of the ringleader, Sahiba Hina, were also arrested.
The operation resulted in the recovery of valuables worth nearly Rs1 million. The other identified gang members include Babil Maqbool, Kaneez Fareed, Fatima Mehboob, Lubna, Shan, and Salma Abrar Hussain. This group was known for hypnotizing women in their homes before stealing their possessions.

According to SP Investigation Uzair Memon, cases have been filed against the arrested individuals at the Steel Town and Bin Qasim Town police stations.
Two affected families have recognized the suspects, leading to the recovery of valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
The gang is connected to cases reported in Lahore, Khairpur, Sukkur, and Karachi Cantt railway stations. The arrested suspects gained entry into homes by posing as providers of tuition and spiritual healing services to carry out their crimes. Police are conducting further raids to capture additional gang members.
