A Jeju Air flight from Bangkok to South Korea crashed at Muan International Airport on Sunday morning, leaving 167 dead and only two survivors. The Boeing 737-800, carrying 181 people, collided with a barrier while landing, leading to a fire that engulfed the aircraft.

Authorities suspect a bird strike and adverse weather conditions caused the crash. Video footage shows the plane skidding on its belly before erupting in flames.
South Korea’s government has launched an investigation, and Jeju Air is cooperating fully. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences for the tragic loss of life.
