Lebanon’s health ministry reported that Israeli airstrikes on the southern city of Tyre resulted in at least five fatalities and 10 injuries on Monday. An official statement indicated that an “Israeli enemy strike this morning on a building” in the city center caused significant destruction.
Emergency responders were seen rushing survivors to ambulances on stretchers, while firefighters battled a large blaze at the site, where a residential apartment block had collapsed. The ministry noted that efforts were ongoing to clear the rubble.
