ISLAMABAD: More than 232,000 Pakistanis have completed online registration for Hajj 2027 within the first two weeks, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ministry said the registration process for Hajj 2027โ€“2030 remains open and will continue until further notice.

The strong response reflects growing public interest in Hajj 2027. Thousands of applicants have used the Pak Hajj App and the official online registration portal to complete the process from their homes.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, over 232,000 people successfully registered during the first 14 days. Among them, around 175,000 applicants selected the Government Hajj Scheme, while nearly 58,000 chose the Private Hajj Scheme.

The ministry also shared province-wise registration figures. More than 108,000 applicants registered from Punjab. Around 71,000 registrations came from Sindh, while over 33,000 people applied from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The registered applicants include approximately 136,000 men and 96,000 women. Officials said the online registration process will continue without interruption until new instructions are issued.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf officially launched the registration process for Hajj 2027. During the inauguration ceremony, he announced several important features of the new policy.

The minister confirmed that registration is completely free. No registration fee is being charged from applicants. He also said the process will follow a first-come, first-served policy.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf stated that registration is mandatory for both the Government and Private Hajj Schemes. He added that applications for Hajj 2027 will not be accepted unless the applicant has completed the registration process.

The minister also highlighted the passport requirement for applicants. Every applicant must hold a valid passport with an expiry date extending at least until November 26, 2027.

He said members of the same family can register together. Overseas Pakistanis are also eligible to complete the registration process.

Applicants have multiple options to register. They can visit designated banks across the country or use the online registration system and the Pak Hajj App for greater convenience.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has encouraged all interested pilgrims to complete their registration on time. Officials advised applicants to ensure their documents are valid before applying to avoid delays in the next stages of the Hajj process.
