Over the past two days, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 120 Palestinians in Gaza, according to Palestinian health officials, as the bombardment of the besieged enclave escalates. Hospitals and residential areas have suffered severe damage, with significant destruction reported across Gaza.
In one of the deadliest attacks, seven people were killed in a strike on a home in Gaza City’s Zeitoun suburb. Another strike severely damaged the al-Faruq Mosque in Nuseirat refugee camp, as verified by a video shared on social media.

Meanwhile, Israeli ground forces intensified their offensive in northern Gaza, targeting the Kamal Adwan Hospital. The attack injured 12 healthcare workers and damaged emergency areas, courtyards, and infrastructure, though the Israeli military has denied any involvement in the strike.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health has warned that hospitals face imminent shutdowns due to dwindling fuel supplies, with reserves expected to last only two days.
Humanitarian organizations have raised concerns over worsening conditions in Gaza, particularly in the north, where access to food, water, and medical aid has been nearly cut off. The United Nations has cautioned that a famine may soon take hold if the situation remains unchanged.
Since October 2023, Israeli military operations in Gaza, launched in response to Hamas-led attacks on October 7, have resulted in over 44,000 Palestinian deaths and more than 104,000 injuries. The Hamas attacks in southern Israel had killed 1,139 Israelis and led to the abduction of around 250 hostages.
Amid growing international pressure, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin urged Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to address Gaza’s worsening humanitarian crisis, calling for measures to allow increased humanitarian aid into the region.
