Man Bites Snake Thrice And Kills It After Being Bitten

A man in Bihar was bitten by a snake and responded by attacking and killing the reptile. The incident took place in Rajouli, Nawada, where Santosh Lohar, a laborer on a railway project, was bitten while sleeping at his base camp.

Instead of panicking, he used an iron rod to grab and bite it three times, resulting in death.

Explaining his actions, Santosh cited a local belief that biting a snake back neutralizes its venom. Railway officials promptly took him to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident drew a curious crowd at the hospital, speculating on whether the snake was indeed venomous and the danger Santosh faced.

Dr. Satish Chandra, attending physician, confirmed that Santosh is recovering well and out of danger.
