Saudi Arabia Sets New Timings for Visits to Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH)

Saudi Arabia has introduced new schedules and procedures for visiting the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) in Al Masjid-e-Nabawi and offering nawafil in Riazul Jannah. The new guidelines aim to regulate visitor flow and ensure that worshippers can perform ziyarah in a safe and organized manner.

According to Saudi authorities, all visitors must now obtain permits through the Nusuk platform. The Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques confirmed that advance booking is required for entry. Permits can usually be obtained once every 365 days. However, the “Instant Track” feature is available for those who are near the Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque and wish to book quickly.

Saudi Arabia has also issued clear entry instructions for visitors. Access to the Noble Roza-e-Rasool will take place through the southern courtyards, located in front of Makkah Gate 37. Elderly worshippers will be allowed to use manual wheelchairs to facilitate easier movement inside the sacred area.

The new timings include separate schedules for men and women. For men, regular visiting hours begin at 2:00am and continue until the Fajr prayer. Visits then resume from 11:20am and last until the Isha prayer. These timings will remain in place throughout the week.

On Fridays, men will have three opportunities to visit. The first session runs from 2:00am until Fajr. The second slot is from 9:20am to 11:20am. The final slot opens after the Jummah prayer and continues until the Isha prayer. Officials stated that these timings were designed to manage the higher Friday crowd.

Women will also follow separate schedules. On regular days, they may visit from after the Fajr prayer until 11:00am. The second session for women begins after the Isha prayer and lasts until 2:00am. These timings allow women to perform ziyarah with ease and comfort.
