The Directorate of Hajj has announced a detailed training program to prepare pilgrims for the sacred Hajj journey, The program aims to ensure all participants are fully equipped with knowledge of rituals, safety measures, and health practices.
The Hajj training will run from January 28 to February 14, 2026, with main sessions in Faisalabad scheduled for February 13 and 14 at the Iqbal Auditorium, University of Agriculture. Officials emphasized that the program will cover all aspects of the pilgrimage, from religious rituals to practical preparations.
Experts from various departments, including Rescue 1122, will provide instruction in first aid and emergency medical care. The Punjab Food Authority will also participate, educating pilgrims on food hygiene and safety to prevent illness during Hajj.
Special attention is being given to women pilgrims. Lady doctors will attend the sessions to address health concerns and provide guidance on personal safety. Pilgrims will also receive training on using mobile applications to access navigation tools, official updates, and essential services while in Saudi Arabia.
Officials said the Hajj training camps are part of a larger effort to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage. Participants will learn about crowd management, emergency protocols, and proper conduct during rituals. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to supporting pilgrims and facilitating a spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience.
The Directorate of Hajj encouraged all intending pilgrims to attend the sessions and actively participate in the training. Authorities assured that these preparations will help pilgrims perform Hajj safely, efficiently, and with full confidence in their journey.
