The foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have strongly condemned Israeli violations in Gaza, which have caused the death and injury of over a thousand Palestinians.
In a statement shared by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on X, the ministers warned that these violations risk escalating tensions and undermining efforts to maintain calm and restore stability in the region.
“The repeated violations pose a direct threat to the political process and hinder efforts to create security and humanitarian stability in Gaza,” the statement read.
The ministers urged both Israel and Hamas to exercise restraint and fulfill their responsibilities. They emphasized that actions should prioritize the protection of civilians and respect for international law.
The statement also called for advancing a just and lasting peace in Gaza, grounded in the Palestinian right to self-determination. The ministers referenced relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Arab peace initiative as frameworks for conflict resolution.
Officials highlighted that the current situation in Gaza could destabilize the wider region if left unaddressed. They stressed the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and humanitarian assistance to prevent further loss of life.
The condemnation reflects growing concern among Islamic nations about ongoing violence in Gaza. Analysts say coordinated international pressure could play a key role in ensuring adherence to ceasefire agreements.
The foreign ministers concluded by reaffirming their commitment to peace, security, and humanitarian protection in Gaza, urging all parties to prioritize dialogue and responsible action.
