LAHORE: Students across Punjab are eagerly waiting for the annual examination results as BISE Lahore and the province’s other education boards are expected to announce the results according to a unified schedule.

The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Bahawalpur are likely to release their results on the same dates and at the same time. This synchronized system allows students across Punjab to access their results simultaneously.

According to the tentative schedule, the Class 10 (SSC Part 2) results are expected to be announced on August 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The Class 9 (SSC Part 1) results are likely to be declared on September 2, 2026, also at 10:00 AM.

The tentative schedule further indicates that the Class 12 (HSSC Part 2) results may be announced on September 23, 2026, while the Class 11 (HSSC Part 1) results are expected on October 22, 2026. All results are expected to be released at 10:00 AM.

Students are advised that these dates are provisional. They should regularly check the official board websites for any updates or changes before the announcements.

The Matric Annual Examinations 2026 started on March 27 and continued throughout April. The examination process concluded during the second half of the month after all scheduled papers were completed.

Among all Punjab boards, BISE Lahore recorded the highest number of candidates. A total of 284,718 students appeared in the Matric examinations. This included 129,488 boys and 155,229 girls, making it the largest board in terms of student enrollment.

The first day of the examinations also witnessed strong attendance across Punjab. More than 250,000 students appeared at examination centres to take their papers, reflecting a high participation rate.

Although the Punjab education authorities have not yet released a combined figure for all nine boards, the total number of students who appeared in the Matric examinations is estimated to be more than one million.
