30 Visa-Free Countries Await Pakistani Passport Holders—See the Full List

Pakistan’s passport has retained its 100th position in the latest Henley Passport Index released for July 2026. The updated ranking allows Pakistani citizens Visa-Free, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or electronic travel authorisation (ETA) access to 30 destinations around the world.

The latest ranking reflects Pakistan’s current level of international travel mobility during the busy summer travel season. While the country’s passport remains among the lower-ranked globally, travellers still have access to several destinations through simplified entry procedures.

According to the latest Henley Passport Index, Pakistani passport holders can visit 30 countries and territories without obtaining a traditional visa before departure. These destinations include countries offering Visa-Free entry, visa-on-arrival facilities, or electronic travel authorisation systems.

The available destinations are spread across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific region. Some of the popular places on the list include the Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Rwanda, Seychelles, Barbados, Dominica, Haiti, Vanuatu, and Trinidad and Tobago.

These simplified travel options make international trips more convenient for tourists, business travellers, students, and families. They also reduce the paperwork normally required before travelling abroad.

Pakistan’s passport ranking has changed several times during 2026. Earlier this year, the country improved its position in the global index before slipping back in later updates.

In 2025, Pakistan ranked 103rd with access to around 31 destinations. The passport improved to 98th place in January 2026 and climbed further to 97th position in February, providing access to 32 destinations.

However, the ranking later declined to 100th in May, with travel access reduced to 30 destinations. The latest July 2026 update has maintained both the 100th position and access to the same number of countries.

The Henley Passport Index uses exclusive data provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It measures how many destinations passport holders can enter without securing a traditional visa before departure.

The rankings are updated regularly because visa rules and international travel agreements often change. Countries frequently revise entry policies, introduce new bilateral agreements, or modify immigration requirements.

Experts note that passport rankings can improve or decline depending on diplomatic relations and international cooperation. Small changes in visa policies can affect the number of accessible destinations.

Although Pakistan’s passport still faces mobility challenges compared to higher-ranked countries, the availability of Visa-Free, visa-on-arrival, and ETA destinations continues to provide useful travel opportunities for Pakistani citizens.

Travel experts advise passengers to check the latest entry requirements before booking flights. Some destinations may require proof of accommodation, return tickets, travel insurance, or sufficient financial resources despite offering simplified entry.

Future visa agreements and stronger diplomatic ties could help improve Pakistan’s passport ranking and expand Visa-Free travel opportunities for its citizens in the years ahead.
