PCB Announces Free Entry for National Champions Cup 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced free entry for fans at the National Champions Cup 2026. The tournament will take place at Multan Cricket Stadium from August 11 to 18.

The National Champions Cup will open Pakistanโ€™s 2026-27 domestic cricket season. The seven-match tournament will follow the 50-over List-A format.

PCB Announces free stadium entry to encourage cricket fans to attend the matches. All fixtures will be played under lights, with matches starting at 3 p.m. local time.

Four teams will compete in the tournament. These teams are Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues, and Pakistan Gold.

The teams will play a single round-robin stage. The top two teams will qualify for the final on August 18.

Several prominent Pakistani cricketers will feature in the competition. The tournament includes Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Saim Ayub.

Sahibzada Farhan, Arafat Minhas, and Sufyan Moqim are also part of the tournament.

Shadab Khan will captain Pakistan Greens. Saim Ayub will lead Pakistan Whites in the competition.

Sahibzada Farhan will captain Pakistan Blues. Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead Pakistan Gold.

The PCB has also introduced fixed playing XIs for all four teams. A separate reserve pool includes 13 players.

Reserve players will only replace players who suffer injuries or concussion. This rule will help maintain squad balance during the tournament.

The four squads and reserve players include 44 selected cricketers. Their selection is linked to Pakistanโ€™s preparations for the ICC Menโ€™s Cricket World Cup 2027.

The National Champions Cup will also help selectors evaluate players. It will provide an opportunity to assess current performers and emerging talent.

PCB Announces the tournament as an important part of Pakistanโ€™s domestic cricket preparations. The competition could help selectors identify players for future international assignments.

The 2027 Cricket World Cup will be hosted across South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Pakistanโ€™s domestic competitions will therefore remain important for player development.

With free entry available, fans can watch the tournament at Multan Cricket Stadium without paying admission charges. The event is expected to attract strong interest from local cricket supporters.
