Due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, many airlines have canceled flights to the region. The Chinese Embassy in Lebanon has advised its citizens in Beirut to exercise caution.
Delta Air Lines has suspended flights between New York and Tel Aviv until August 31, following previous cancellations by German Airlines to Tehran.

Flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv will also be suspended until August 12, with additional cancellations by Turkish, Japanese, British, and French airlines.
In response, the G7 Foreign Ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US, along with the EU High Representative, have expressed serious concern about the rising tensions in the Middle East.
They call on all parties to avoid escalating violence, reduce tensions, and work towards de-escalation, stressing that further conflict benefits no nation.
