U.S. Blacklists Over Two Dozen Companies from Pakistan, China, and UAE

The U.S. has placed more than two dozen companies from Pakistan, China, and the UAE on its trade blacklist, restricting them from obtaining U.S. goods and technology without government approval.

According to reports, 26 entities, including nine from Pakistan, six from China, and three from the UAE, have been blacklisted for allegedly violating export controls by aiding weapons and drone programs in Pakistan and Iran, as well as supporting Russia in the Ukraine war.

Alan Estevez, Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, stated, “We remain vigilant in protecting U.S. national security from bad actors. Today’s actions send a clear message to those who violate our controls: they will face consequences.”
