The experiment involved collaboration between the Pakistan Army’s scientific research division, Army Aviation, SUPARCO, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Punjab government.
Experts highlighted that this artificial rain could help reduce smog and address environmental issues in the region, especially during the winter months.
Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised the successful experiment, calling it a historic achievement, while Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb noted that, unlike last year’s collaboration with the UAE, this test utilized 100% local expertise and technology.
