The picturesque northern regions of Pakistan, including Murree and Swat, are witnessing a surge in tourism as heavy snowfall blankets the landscape. Thousands of tourists have flocked to popular destinations such as Murree Mall Road, Jhiga Gali, Ayubia, and Malam Jabba, eager to enjoy the winter wonderland.
Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) officials have confirmed the increase in visitors, with local authorities taking measures to manage the influx. In Murree, additional traffic police and staff have been deployed to assist tourists in navigating slippery roads. The Chief Traffic Officer has advised visitors to use well-equipped four-wheel vehicles and avoid parking on main roads, commending the efforts of traffic personnel in challenging weather conditions.
