The initiative aims to enhance green mobility across the province. A report on potential new routes for Gujranwala’s mass transit system was also requested. The Chief Minister stressed that routes should prioritize public convenience and instructed that construction on the Yellow Line—from Jinnah Terminal to Harbanspura—begin immediately.
It was further shared that the government will provide subsidies under the e-taxi scheme. Authorities also discussed co-locating electric charging stations with existing petrol pumps to increase accessibility.
Separately, CM Maryam Nawaz directed health officials to ensure free treatment for Pakistani patients who were recently sent back from India due to escalating bilateral tensions.
