Police Crack Down on Illegal Dance Party in Lahore, Over 50 Arrested Including Women

In a recent crackdown, Lahore police detained over 50 people, including women, during a raid on a dance party held at a farmhouse in the Battapru area’s Green Orchard, Tairah Pind.

Authorities confirmed that 39 men and 18 women were arrested following a call to the emergency helpline 15. Alcohol and a sound system were seized from the premises, and a video emerged showing the women being transported to the police station.

This incident follows a similar raid in February 2025 in Valencia Town, where 12 individuals—half of them women—were arrested during a hotel dance gathering. Law enforcement recovered speakers, hookahs, and flavored shisha, launching legal action thereafter.

Additionally, in July of the previous year, police conducted another raid at a private party in Chuhng, arresting 26 participants and confiscating hookahs, shisha flavors, sound equipment, and weapons.

These recurring actions reflect an ongoing effort by the authorities to clamp down on such events across Lahore.
